Has anyone ever gotten an IT Band Tenodesis surgery ONLY done on their current ACL? No new ACL, No ACL Revision. Just only an IT Band Tenodesis on their current ACL. Did it solve your pain and problems? What was recovery/physical therapy like?

Yes, it is possible for someone to undergo an IT band tenodesis surgery solely on their current ACL. This surgical procedure involves using the iliotibial (IT) band, a thick band of tissue that runs along the outside of the thigh, to reconstruct or support the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) in cases where it is damaged or unstable. This approach can be considered when there are specific anatomical or clinical reasons to use the IT band for ACL reconstruction, such as in cases of complex knee injuries or revisions of previous ACL surgeries.
