so did you go back next time then goodsoulette? i want something i enjoy doing and i will get results from i no the first time will be hard but hopefully they'll be gentle with me, it consists of standing up and sitting down doesnt it?
I go every other week at the moment, and stick to my easier yogalates or fitball most weeks. I never want to go to a spinning class but once I have got into it I come out well chuffed with myself.
I did one once because I was persuaded by a fitness instructor who was a friend of my ex. I made the mistake of cycling there (which took 30 minutes) so I was already hot, sweaty and tired before the class even started. And God was it hard work! I hated every second but did the entire class then had to cycle home. I was nearly in tears by the time I got back. I felt better about 3 days afterwards though. when I was physically able to move again.
I should add that if you are super-fit already then you'll be fine. I'm fairly fit and I struggled. But then it is an intense workout.
If you're not very fit then you can still go but make sure you ease off a bit if you find the class to hard going. Take it at your own pace until you build up your stamina.
Get plenty of cushions ready because your bum will hurt like mad for days - worst of all if you try and sit in the bath - sorry, but I never ever went back after my first time. Hope you enjoy it and can make the most of it. You could do a bit for me too if you liked?x
