Boy'f can't keep anything down (or up!) but is starving hungry - should he eat and change bringing it up again even though the heaving is giving him a pounding headache or just try and stay away from food. Know to give him lots of water so he doesn't get dehydrated but not sure what to do about food? He's feeling very lathergic and fed up!
yep, as dot. say's see you GP if he's still like it in the morning.
Keep giving him fluids, that's the most important thing just now
PS, sounds like Gastric flu
Could be gastro enteritis. Has he got bad pains in his stomach? Forget about food, just keep on doing wot you are with lots of water and as others have said, don't leave it a long time to get medical help.
Hello lorla , sorry that your bf is feeling so rough. Try to give him frequent fluids , in little sips at a time , to keep him from becoming dehydrated , and , as the others have said , make sure he sees a doctor if he is no better or gets any worse . All the best. :-)
Theres a product you can buy either at the chemist or even at a superstore, which will immediately help to replace your BFs lost electrolytes as well as replace bulk within his tracts called Diarolyte. The product is part of airline crews medical kits and gives close to immediate help. Its basically a rice derivative. However, just as with so many things today, it contains a trace amount of aspartame. The symptoms you have shared can manifest as a consequence of many physiological and biological issues. His lethargy is symptomatic of his condition. Perhaps a banana or anything with potassium could also assist in his wellbeing. If the condition persists its important to seek qualified medical advice.
i wouldnt suggest banana as being a good thing to eat if theres a chance of bring it back up. according to someone i know banana was the worst thing they were ever sick after eating because the body had not digested any of it quickly enough and it got stuck in their throat.
