I once saw a pad of shopping lists you could buy.

Item 1 was printed on for you. Chocolate.

DeniW is a new member of AB, so this question is probably in the nature of a tentative attempt at joining in. We hope for better things from DeniW.

I'd guess it might have been from a soldier in the trenches during the Great War.

But, as I say, that's just a guess.
