Rally car fuel?
2 Answers
My girlfriend has just bought me a "Rally Car Driving Experience". I can't wait! However, I was thinking about the differences between road legal cars and rally cars - do rally cars run on different fuel and if so, what is so special about it?

Coming in a little late on this question, admittedly, but I had to relate my experience of driving Subaru's official entry to the Estonian rally a few years ago. No, not in competition sadly; I unpacked it from a container upon its return to UK. Whatever jungle juice it was that they put in that Impreza, it certainly smelled unlike any petrol that's been anywhere near my nose. And the performance was breath-taking, nerve-jangling, bowel-emptying etc. greenlegend
