Clarify please?

My insurers are quite happy that I have DIY car cam. I know because I wrote to them and retained their letter in reply.
TWR is referring to a youtube video I posted in the news section under the title 'Hgv Fatal Accidents'. I mentioned there was swearing in it, but seemingly it wasn;t deemed worthy of a proper look, which is totally up to him.

Diz, with respect to you, there's not much chance of that.
Actually I think they're a great idea and especially handy as a general safety device. And having been delibeartely rammed by a young gentleman in Blackburn some years ago, I only wish the technology had been available long ago.
TWR, we don't all pour over AB and have perfect recall of threads we have read.

If you wish to refer to another thread it would be courteous to post a link. A random time is quite meaningless and of very little use.

You could do so much more to make yourself more clearly understood and we could then do away with the tedious extraction of detail to help us understand what you are referring to and focus on the nitty gritty of your posts.
So if an accident was recorded on a hand held video camera – the insurance company would not accept it, unless it had been taken by a professional videographer – who supplied a vat receipt?

If that camera was Time / Dated / it would stand. the ;police use them but are calibrated, ask your Insurance, you may be surprised.

A colleague at work has a self fitted dashcam and his insurance accepted it when a deer leapt out and hit him.
