Forgive me if this has been asked before, but if you're looking to buy a new car, whether new or used, these days should you get a diesel - I gather they're to be outlawed in the not-too-distant future - or an electric one?
If there's any chance you can get catch-up to the Jeremy Vine show on R2 yesterday they had a 30 minute slot with varying opinions. It was damage to the environment that seemed to bother most anti-diesellers.
I appear to being called a liar again!
I now only fill my car twice whilst before I was filling it 3-4 times a month, my road tax is slightly cheaper and my insurance is significantly cheaper hence the savings each month!
Sorry for my late reply Murray, yes you are correct but it's getting like that every City the public travel to, we last used ythe Park / Ride in Oxford many moons ago.
An all-electric car would be a huge disaster. From day one, you gaze will be fixed on the battery monitor, rather than the road ahead.....electric cars a probably OK for milk floats but not for everyday use.
Perhaps you should go for a hybrid, petrol-battery model.
