hi Icey and Arkside, Queen is an all time fav of mine
don't think I know of anyone who dislikes that band
Although I was born in the 80's and therefore grew up more in the 90's and the last decade. I am a massive fan of 80's music;

U2, Bon Jovi, Queen, Michael Jackson, Prince, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, INXS, Phil Collins, REM, Duran Duran, REO Speedwagon, Gary Numan, Foreigner, A-HA and many more!

From early 60's onwards, motown was ageless.
Got to be 60s/70s,it all happened then !

I would imagine the oldies of that era would see problems as we do today dg, teens reckless behaiour, only we didn't ..lol
Looked upon things with gay (a term you could use freely then ! ) abandon.

no your'e not Alex, they were brilliant ,
songs you could dance and sing along to, and you would know the words too
Bobbi the list of rock and rollers I saw at the city hall and empire would be far too long to put in here but they were great days and I saw all the "Greats"

I can remember my cousin,who was 3 yrs older having a lot of Buddy Holly 78s.
Also jazz featuring Acker Bilk,Chris Barber and Kenny Ball.
