Beware if you see any reference to a new Party called " Britain First" It is in effect a new Far-Right party, formed by ex-Members of the BNP ::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britain_First

It might look quite cuddly and very patriotic, with its images of the Queen, poppies and suchlike but its the same tired old band of Fascist thugs, for whom Asians are the new Jews. I have warned about the rise of the Far Right on AB before, especially in Europe but these Fascists are marching in Britain, not Berlin. We ignore these racist thugs at our peril.

AOG - "Passages taken from the Wikipedia link, can't see anything untoward here. /// In May 2013, following the murder of Lee Rigby, Britain First released a video threatening to place Islamist cleric Anjem Choudary under citizen's arrest if the Metropolitan Police would not arrest him. ///" I see something untoward there - the willingness of an...

What about years of positive discrimination (which is still discrimination) against white British people Mikey, do you think that has played a role in people becoming more vocal against these 'special community groups'?

Just noticed this thread that you started back in 2009 AOG ::::

You seemed to be concerned back then...what changed your mind ?

What "positive discrimination" ?

/// When you can be reasonably sure that the majority of Western men treat Western women with the repsect that you believe is missing from Muslim couples, then you can start to wonder (but not expect) Muslim couples to do the same - but i don't see that day dawning anytime soon - not while we excuse footballers raping young women because they are drunk and 'knew what they were getting into ...' ///

The MAJORITY of Western men DO respect women, but even if in your 'idyllic world' and they all did, the Muslim world would still not, hence the separate entrances and areas for women in their Mosques, the covering up of their women from the eyes of the world, forced marriages, FGM, and the need for them to walk a few paces behind their men folk.

/// but i don't see that day dawning anytime soon - not while we excuse footballers raping young women because they are drunk and 'knew what they were getting into ...' ///

Where have we 'excused' this footballer? He served a prison sentence, he is on the sex offenders list, and it has yet to be decided if his club or any other club for that matter will allow him to play football ever again.
The cause of the rise in the far right is due to continual right-on liberalism. People get fed up and look for a way to fight back and a way to voice their concerns.

Continual cries of racist as people cried out to save their country from being desecrated by New Labours great(failed) Multicultural experiment has meant fring groups such as these can find support.

You reap what you sow and unfortunately right across the EU the liberals have been sowing the destruction of our way of life
Things like referetial treatment in many areas given to certain enthic, religious groups and so on not based on merit but usually fear of being accused / branded of 'ist', 'ism' offences. I personally think that winds people up.
Phew! That's UKIP off the hook then. No one need worry about them!

/// As I have opined before - anyone who starts a post with 'So you think ..." is going to follow that with a post that either misses the point being responded to - or will say something that the post to which they are replying did not say. ///

/// In this case - it's the latter. ///

You say "opined before" that is exactly what it is 'your opinion' which does not make it necessarily right.

There you go again AOG....saying that all Muslims are the same. For your information, FGM is not practised by all Muslims followers at all. If it can be described at all, and it is by the UN, its a practise that is seen all over Africa, which is by no means 100% Muslim. Not all Muslim men expect their womenfolk to walk a few paces behind them, nor do all Muslim men expect the aforesaid their wives to come from "forced marriages" Arranged marriages are practised by different religions all over the world.

Its this one-size-fits-all approach to complex problems that irritates me, because the next logical stage is that all Muslims must therefore be terrorists and bombers. Its this ignorant attitude that is feeding the fires of the Far Right.

/// I made no corelation between bulling tactics by ignorant Westerners, or vile and indefensible behaviours by a group of deviant men who hapen to be of Asian origin - on this occasion - that connection is nowhere in my post - but perhaps just in your imagination. ///

Then perhaps you would care to read what you actually did put?

/// It wasn't 'Muslim grooming ...' it was grooming by a devious nasty section of men who are nominal Muslims - rather in the same way, although of course more seriously, than bullies who march into mosques demanding 'respect' are 'Christians'. ///

" RATHER IN THE SAME WAY", see the connection that you made?
//Its this ignorant attitude that is feeding the fires of the Far Right. //

I dispute that 'on cap fits all' statement. Refer to my post above.

/// Racism comes from many different places and many different sources ///

So by your own very admission, we have much to fear from almost anywhere and everyone, so why pick on one particular group?
Question Author
Once again, what "preferential treatment" did you have in mind Orderlimit ?

If you mean the fear that played a part in ignoring the widespread abuse of women and girls in places like Rochdale, than you have a point, a point that everybody now accepts to be at least part of the problem. But that ignoring of the racial aspect of the abuse was across the board, in the Police, Social Services, Schools, Local Government, etc. And its wasn't a preserve of the Labour Party...who could define the Police as "lefty" !

But Cyril Smith, Gary Glitter, Chris Denning, Jimmy Savile, et all, abused many more children that the Asians and others did and were quite clearly not white, not even a little bit. Savile even had white hair. and all the aforementioned perverts "groomed" their victims as well.

Child abuse has been endemic in Britain for decades, and the reasons for it, and the reasons why it was not taken seriously are legion and very complex, and fear of alarming different races was only a part of it. The main reason, for instance, why Cyril Smith was allowed to continue abusing for over 40 years, was that he knew too many others involved in the same crime, some of them high-ranking people, all white.

But if we were to pander to the likes of the BNP, Britain First, etc and deport anybody that couldn't trace their ancestry back to 1066, we would still have a substantial issue of paedophilia in Britain, almost all of which is committed by white men.

Where did I seemed concerned?

I asked "Should we be concerned"? and "Having read this do others agree that there is a real threat of Nazism once again raising it's ugly head"?

I never said I was or did, so I have not changed my mind.

Nit-picking AOG,,,you clearly thought the issue was important, otherwise you wouldn't have raised it in the first place.
"If you mean the fear that played a part in ignoring the widespread abuse of women and girls in places like Rochdale...."

Youngs girls (and some boys) subjected to the most wicked and depraved sexual offences in recent history by mainly 'non-diverse' (Asian is not a fair nor accurate description) muslims males and allowed to continue, Why?
AOG - "The MAJORITY of Western men DO respect women ..."

We will have to differ with regard to the subject of respect for women in the West.

" ...but even if in your 'idyllic world' and they all did, the Muslim world would still not, hence the separate entrances and areas for women in their Mosques, the covering up of their women from the eyes of the world, forced marriages, FGM, and the need for them to walk a few paces behind their men folk."

With the exception of the Mosque entrances - the remaining instances are cultural differences, rather like workingmens' clubs not admitting women, golf culbs insisting women tee off at different times, the Catholic church not admitting women priests - you know, that kind of Western respect the Muslim people should be looking up to over here.

Once again you have chosen to twist my words, which is not unusual for a person such as you with a certain agenda to put forward.

When I referred to the 'MUSLIM WORLD' I was not accusing all Muslims, just as if someone referred to the 'WESTERN WORLD' a person with no particular agenda to voice, would not be accusing all individual persons on what ills could be attached to that world.

Notice though that you did not pull Andy up when he classed Western men who did not treat their women folk with respect, as the majority.
