Why hasn't Mo Farah received the accolades that he deserved?
Is the UK racist?

Not a fan of Murray's......but well done and well deserved ( get rid of your mum Andy)
Well - I had heard of all of them apart fro the rugby guy who came second and the female footballer who came last. Anyone who watched ALL the Davis Cup matches would understand why Andy is such a worthy winner of the individual and well as the team trophy.

The people of this country will put up with many frailties in their sporting heroes but we draw the line when they take to peddling Quorn! :-)
Well done. Andy and the GB team.

Bailey Matthews fantastic laddie, a inspiration to us all.

Claire Balding and Eddie Izzard were like twins. PMSL !
Did he send his Mummy along to pick up his award?
What's the problems withAndy's mum here? She doesn'tfollow him around the world on the tennis tour. She only goes to British events and grand slams, usually in her capacity as FedCup captain to watch the British female players as well. He's not tied to her apron strings.
Wow betide any Mum who enjoys and is proud at her son's achievements, cloverjo.
OH!cmon.......we have had years and years of Andy with his mum, pushed down our throats, mainly by the media.
The perception of Andy and Mum is going to be hard to break down.

\\\She only goes to British events and grand slams, usually in her capacity as FedCup captain\\\

Right.....didn't realise that. ;-)
He's now won twice which is a tad more than he deserves. His fans should enjoy that accolade and smile quietly. The fact that he's being defended so much only goes to show that deep down you know he's a Marmite character.
I've noticed many a time on AB that it's almost a crime to not slather over Andy Murray.
I'm glad Andy won. Well deserved, and yes, I voted for him.
How you can say you have never heard of the rugby player who came second and they say Murray deserved to win? it is laughable. It seems to me that the voting for SPOTY she be taken away from the British public ... they appear to be somewhat clueless!

I don't think anyone who gets paid for doing their hobby, deserves any awards
It's Scottish bias, innit. And let's face it nobody does bias like the Jocks. They'd vote for Rab C Nesbitt if he entered it.
Surprised that a homosexual television station staffed by homosexuals making homosexual programmes for other homosexuals allowed half of the people trying to vote for Fury to get through.
//^I should take more water with it if I were you.//
^You should be so lucky. (lucky, lucky, lucky. As your cultural attache once warbled)
Ah yes, the Singing Budgie, luckily for her there was a country she was appreciated in.
