If you ever wonder how Trump will stay in power, here is his demographic. They will keep Agent Orange at the top.

"Well played ZM, well played."

Oh the smugness goes on unabound.
You've been caught out for hypocrisy, ymb. Least you could do is acknowledge that.
Yes, I have been caught out for hypocrisy.

Happy?

Not really, because you also have a point.
Well, I did have a little chuckle. It’s great when people shoot themselves in the foot.
I am sure you did ZM, but at least I have the decency to acknowledge it.
It is of course interesting to see you went back to 2016 and 2013 to 'prove' a point though and in neither case did I call someone a name rather an organisation. People do develop and change their views you know, well I do.
Give it a rest, YMB, you made a tit of yourself. Just hand me the shovel, eh?
Really ZM, dont like the fact you had to use posts dating back 7 years to prove a point eh?

Why should I give it a rest you are one of the most smug know it alls on this site, never admitting when you are wrong. At least I do have the decency to admit it.
Well, it’s easy to be smug when people go around criticising others for things they’re guilty of themselves. I’m not really sure what timescales have to do with it, but here’s a more recent one for you:

And I quote ‘ You do realise that once you have reverted to name calling you have lost the argument?‘

Yup, you're a hypocrite and I'm a smug bustard. Can we move on now?I

I'm not denying the legality of carrying the firearms, nor am I suggesting that there was any intent to use them, just the symbolism of it and the obvious fear it caused for the people being confronted. It crosses the line from protest to intimidation.

Maybe it's just being a Brit, I can't share that American mindset when it comes to guns.
Yes, I'm not meaning to deny the symbolism either. I think it's safe to say that I had mixed feelings about learning that: on the one hand it means that the significance of carrying weapons is less, ie it's "just" an assertion of rights, but on the other I don't believe that carrying weapons should be a right anyway and it's disturbing to think that the protest could easily have become deadly if just a single hothead had lost control.
Question Author
It's not difficult to see how America has issues with gun crime is it?
There will be a lot more of this in the coming weeks. Watch out for the mentally ill gunman using it as an excuse. The cry will be ‘no more lockdown’ instead of ‘allahu ackbar’.
Question Author
I fear you may be right ZM.

I can also see the POTUS using it as an excuse to pressure state governers into lifting lockdown regulations.
These 'governors' and other officials at county and state levels have brought a lot of ire down on themselves from the gunslingers and 2nd amendment devotees as they appear to be using emergency powers to bring in anti-gun legislation under the radar.
This is having exactly the opposite effect as swarms of previously unarmed citizens are clearing the shelves of every firearm they can get there hands on because they don't want to be the ones who can't defend themselves when boogaloo happens...
Anything’s possible with Trump at the helm.
kind of reminds me of the time that YMB criticised strikers, but when it was his daughter striking, apparently it was ok and the right thing to do!
