naomi - // I know... which I’d why I mentioned it. //
I'm not sure what your point is?
You spend far more time than I do butting heads with the fervents on here, I would have thought a blatant anti-Christian attitude about helping peole would have attracted some comment from you - and not defence of the hypocrisy in posting it.
Andy and Llanfair, I have answers galore for you.
The problem is, we descend into a tit for tat.
Do we want that?
Regarding helping our own, I would criticise the young activist who wants to save the world but would not help their own mother c!San up the kitchen!
Yes, there is a great argument for charity beginning at home.
One more thing, if you are both such authorities on Christianity then by all means correct me, but don't dare look into my heart and judge me.
You have no right.
I do not give you that right.
What Jackdaw wrote at 11.15. If you bankrupt yourself, you will add to the ones in need. Better to take the longer view, share out what there is, and live to give and give again another day.
Theland - // but don't dare look into my heart and judge me.

hahahahaha - I won't if you won't - but that would stop you posting wouldn;t it - since judgement is all you ever offer to anyone on here.
// I do not give you that right. //
It's not about 'the right' -it's about putting up your views and everyone else having 'the right' to put their point of view - that is what this site does.
If you don't like your odious views challenged, don't post them - stick to your usual holier-than-thou persona, and save your real opinions for those around you, who may think the same way.
Roll out your hypocrisy in here and you will get called out on it.
I'm feeling all guilty now.
The telly is looking at me accusingly, as if saying, ''Sell me, give to the poor.''
Out with the Andrex, in with the San Izal, or even cut squares from the free papers.
I only have one coat, so that's mine.
''Lord forgive me, for I am a miserable sinner, a hypocrite, a thief, a murderer, a luster, and in fact I have broken every single one of your laws.
I trust you to wash me clean in your blood as I accept with confidence your free gift of forgiveness.
The glory is yours, and I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Theland 18:00
I thought it was Jesus who advocated leaving one's family in order to follow his way. You really seem to be out of touch with your own holy book.
