"A silly question but... Since the first day of Russian planes/ gunships zooming over the skies, and considering the air power Russia have, there seems to be little activity from the air. Or is it just because its hard to capture live footage. Thanks "
No a great question: One reason they are probably quieter is that they have not been able to knock out Ukraine's air defences, and so they run the risk of being shot down.
The early pictures showed attack helicopters. And attempts to land paratroopers to take air installations to allow their larger occupation personnel, and saboteurs, to land.
Generally it is true: there is very little film of actual fighting.
Also, it's a huge, huge country, so one reason is simply that you can't be everywhere to catch it.
