I was rather hoping for a clear out and some fresh talent to be appointed. My main criticism of the Boris cabinet was that it was full of talentless toadies. They all seem to be back. Doesn’t bode well for the country or the Tory reboot.
The one appointment I find strange is that of Suella Braverman. She resigned last week because of a security breach and she said resigning was the right thing to do then a week later she takes up the same role again. Also seems like the breach may have come after a falling out with Truss and someone else, so can she be trusted not to do the same thing again if things don't go the way she wants.
Suella gives the lefty Ken Clarke a piece of her mind - good, about time someone did.
I like her, a proper Tory.
As for the security 'breach' I never really bought that. She could not get Top Secret onto her own laptop unless she typed it in and trying to send it from the Home office would result in a quarantine if being sent outside.
So what actually was it, apart from a convenient way of moving her?
