If you get a dvd delivered to you, as long as you don't have to have it signed for, will it fit through the letter box (with the packaging), incase nobody's at home?
Well, as an ex postie I can tell you that most boxes you can, although not everyone has a standard box. For instance older house sometimes have boxes that were quite suitable in their day but are useless now.
No DVD fits through our letterbox as we're in a block of flats with a true letter box rather than just a hole in the door and they aren't deep enough for the DVD to fit through the mouth and fall down into the box :(
If it's a box set then it might not fit, same if it's 2 from Amazon (they tend to put them both side by side in one box). Apart from that, if you have a standard sized letter box then it should fit and will not be recorded delivery unless stated on the site you bought it from.
usually yes, but some DVDs come in bigger packages than others, and some packaging (for sending) is bigger than others too. Plus the size of your letterbox will make a difference. But an ordinary size DVD will fit through an ordinary size letterbox.
They usually come as ordinary mail ad don't have to be signed for.
