I've just read a book by a certain 'Jules de Cock' would he have to be called 'Jules de Rooster' in An American library ?

A lot of what we call nicknames for things have different meanings in America.Fanny being a prime example,I have a photo from a shop in America advertising a fanny pack,fanny in America means backside.
There's a chain of bars in Houston and elsewhere called "Wet Willies"
