Keyplus, whilst I respect anyone's right to believe in whatever religion they choose, for me Sharia law is culturally uncomfortable. We do not execute people in the UK anymore, we have ceased the use of capital punishment and corporal punishment and we should never return to that. It's also naieve assuming that the victim wanted a member of her own family judicially murdered because of a crime committed against her. She may very well have been raped, horribly no doubt, but killing her brother, father, son whoever he was is actually likely to damage her all over again.
I have Muslim friends who are super nice people, in fact my best friend is a liberal Muslim but Sharia law and particularly the Saudi idea of justice and law and order must catagorically be stopped from ever taking root in the UK.
