The local Mosque and Synagogue are equally accommodating - after all we are both part of the Abrahamic religions. We recognise our differences, embrace our similarities and actively find common ground where we can come together. It works very well in our community where we also join together with the local Sikhs and Hindus for community projects such as feeding and clothing the homeless.
Christians who believe the Bible is the Word of God are true to what the Bible teaches believe that there is only one route to salvation- that is exclusively through the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs, Muslims etc are free to believe whatever they wish. That doesn't change God, or the Biblical truth that "Neither is there salvation in any other (than Jesus): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." and "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." Whilst other religions are respected and acknowledged, the Word of God is crystal clear about the route to salvation.

And you are free to make an assumption (For thats all it is)
Just as much as other faiths are free to make their assumptions.

Spungle; do you feel sorry for muslims, hindus, sikhs and so on because they will not find salvation? How do you feel about a god who refuses salvation to human beings who have not been lucky enough to learn about Jesus? Does that not go against some instinctive morality and sense of fair play, kindness etc that most people have?
Thanks Athiest- yes of course, every Christian would feel for others who have not found salvation in Christ. God's desire is that all men should be saved, and come to a knowledge of the truth. When it comes to the final judgement, God will be infinitely fair, and I believe persons will be judged according to the "light" they had.

// what is true religion today .your guess is as god as mine ?? Matthew,7.14.15 1,Peter.4.18 first let's look at it from God stand point??. First, Nation{ Israelites} out of the world at that time,, I'm and calling them my people so therefore 4,Believers of the true god,, we know,, that they turn your back on God many times and the creator for gave them,, so therefore there must be a true religion which he has took out of all Nations and creed s and all people -so therefore that is something special to him, Today they live on Faith alone and try to obey his commands.

How magnanimous of you! Basically, people who aren't Christians are free to believe whatever they like, however stupid!
And what about all the people who died before Jesus was even born? What happened to them? Where did their souls go? What about Adam and Eve? Did they make it to heaven? If so, how did they manage it?
And what about Deuteronomy 14:2? Or doesn't the Old Testament count?
