If you're referring to an anti-virus or anti-malware scan, it scans every single file on your computer. That's not just your documents and photos etc, but every single file that makes up each program. (A single program, such as the browser software that you're using to view your screen right now, can be made of of thousands of separate files; every one of them gets scanned individually. Similarly, Windows itself is made up of a vast number of individual files, all of which get scanned).
So you most definitely don't want to get rid of every scanned file on your laptop, as that would leave absolutely nothing on it!
Unless the scan flagged up something as malicious, you don't need to do anything at all.
