At what did you take your kids abroad? We were thinking of going away september 2009 and our we one will just be over a year old or should we stick to some where in the uk.
The only reservation I would have is somewhere not too hot, you want to be out and about not having to worry about little one getting too hot.
In my experience the continent is generally more child friendly than the UK.
The most important thing is how relaxed you are going to be in the various places you think about. Plus a bit of research.
Hope you have a super holiday, where ever you decide
jno jnr went to Tenerife at 6 weeks. He was a bit startled by the sun (this was December so he'd never seen it) but it was warm, not hot and he seemed very happy.
My daughter was 12 weeks. We went to Tenerife in September and it was warm but not too hot. She was brilliant obviously too young to know anything but it was definitely the easiest holiday we've ever had with her! Minus taking the bottles, milk and steriliser I suppose!
mine were 8months and 2 years, just make sure you keep them cool and out of the sun. we got into a routine of early mornings and lunchtime siestas. we went to cyprus btw
On the assumption you mean holls in sun - Canaries that time of year are fantastic. Took ours there at six months. Stick to places that live in a similar way to us ie Lanzarote not Zimbabwe.
Salou or PNova will be fine in respect of kids, but hit and miss for good weather in September. You need to go southish of Gibraltar to stand any decent chance of sucess.
Canaries, Agadir, Hammamet, Cyprus type of location.
my parents took me abroad when i was 2, we went to Lanzarote for a few years, Tenerife and the Mainland for a while. It's a good place for little ones. Keep them out of the sun as much as possible while they're tiny.
