We've done the full box sets of Homeland, Band of Brothers, Breaking Bad (watched twice!), The Sopranos and just finished Judge John Deed.
With dark, winter nights drawing in, what next? Any suggestions?
Watched ummm's 'The killing' 'live' on TV, and remember falling for the mother in a big way (my type!), but as it's a whodunnit and I know whodidit, as good as it is, I couldn't watch it again, ditto Homeland which was great, and is more a 'is he (Brody) a villain?' or isn't he?
I haven't a clue what 'The Wire' is about, but will check it out in the morning.
Merci!
After my hasty order last night, I have looked at a trailer for 'The Wire' and it looks to be absolutely dismal. Black pond-life and cops, sitting around in dark interiors talking about drugs, effing and blinding every few words, I've managed to contact Amazon and cancel it. I'll check out some of the other suggestions. Thanks.
Having watched Breaking Bad, Khandro, you may wish to give Better Call Saul a whirl. Only 2 series, so far, but it pre-dates BB and shows not only how Saul got to where he is, but also the development of Mike as an 'enforcer'. I have also just enjoyed the first series of Bosch and will shortly be beginning series 2.
you may be better off considering a now tv or a Netflix subscription, £8.99 to Netflix gets you both series of fargo, both series of Marco Polo, both series of Narcos and both series of Better call Saul.
