When you go to get your bank card out of your phone case(where it’s always stored) and it’s gone. Tip house upside down trying to find it, incase it’s fallen out….. look for 2 days then admit defeat. Ring bank and cancel it, order new one. “ Do you want to just freeze it for several days incase it turns up?” they ask.
“Oh no “ I say, “I’ve looked absolutely everywhere. Just cancel it and order a new one please”.
Sat watching TV, and my little cat Molly starts crouching on the floor, trying to reach under one of the sofas. Clearly seen something. Has both her paws and head right under the sofa trying to reach something. Her sister cat, Daisy, joins in. I’m sat laughing on the other sofa wondering what’s caught their attention. Suddenly Molly appears - with my bank card under her paws!!!………Couldnt make it up!

Put a lockett on that has a lot of sentimental value for me on Christmas Eve, only to find when I got to my destination it was no longer round my neck! Cue a lot of panic and hosts promising to search house high and low when everyone had gone home to try and find it. It turned up nine days later in my garden in an area that I pass every single day without fail - why did it take nine days for me to spot it on the ground? Sod's law springs to mind!
When during the coldest spell this winter, your central heating boiler breaks down early on a Saturday morning (with all the weekend ahead) & then waiting for your plumber on a Monday when he isn't showing up.

Which is exactly what I'm doing at the moment folks !
