Not on my "places I want to visit" list.

Can you be more specific?

No description of the knifeman?

yes - I REALLY don't want to visit.

I've not been often, but apart from the first time in 1960 with Mum and Dad when we 'saw the sights' I have never wanted to re-visit.

I had to go there sometimes to take pupils to art exhibitions (notably the Monet series at the RSA) etc. But they were more than enough.

OH's daughter lives in N. London (a millionaire socialist and unbearable- to be fair, she can't stand me either)and on the only time we visited, about 14years ago, I really hated everything (except the Nat. Portrait Gallery).  The people felt 'wrong'.   But then I'm a Yorkshirewoman..... they probably thought that I was thick because I talked, a fairly refined, northern.

London is fantastic. I always enjoy my visits there.

Great place for a day or two, there is nothing like London for a big occasion.

Then we travel home.
