Whats the best thing you have ever bought in a pound shop (for those of you who admit to going into them).
I have just been doing some sewing and the little sewing kit I bought is brill. 12 spools of thread, tape measure, packet of needles, darning needle, safety pins, buttons, thingy for threading needles and a pair of scissors which dont work, but hey ho, not bad for a quid.
well the wee shop next door is good.
my mother got me scottish souveniers outta there to bring back to the reef .
might see ya if ur up there early december piggy.
Actually when I was there on Monday I went to the cafe in the 'square' infront of Asda and bought two cream buns and two coffees, so that it looked like I was with someone, I wasn't, I was on my own, ate them both and drank them both, what a pig!
warpig, what a fab question! I love pound shops-obviously sometimes you get what you pay for, but I have had some lovely candles out of my old local pound shop, and when I go up home to see mum and dad I will pop in. They often have assorted rawhide chews for the dog, and I used to get my cleaning stuff and some toiletries and sweets from there too. Oh and I have a great rag rug in our bathroom that came from Poundland.

We have "Dollar stores". A new one is opening on Monday. It is part of a chain called "Dollar Tree". I can't wait. I am sure they will have good Christmas wrap and such. Teachers love dollar stores!!!!!
