What are we planning for our evening meal tomorrow? I keep a menu list and choose about an hour after dinner, my choices for tomorrow include, Halls Haggis, tatties and neeps, home made chicken and mushroom pie, or pan fried fillet steak with mushrooms and onions, the outsider is takeaway pizza, but we only have that if circumstances of the day leave us having to make a last minute choice.
AS I did tonight..I will most likely have a salad...cherry tomatoes,wafer thin Brunswick ham, a bit of feta cheese, a bean salad.....or whatever takes my fancy.
over these last few days I've had more than my fill of salads, time for something different and more substantial, I'm going for the pan fried fillet steak, mushrooms and onions, perhaps with a jacket potato and a knob of garlic butter.
