I don't know where 'Deven' fits in Willpower, but the childrens' song is called "This Old Man" and the verse that rhymes with seven goes: "This old man, He played seven, He played knick-knack up in Heaven, Knick-knack paddywhack, Give a dog a bone, This old man came rolling home".

Thanks to Cetti & Darth. I have looked up the lyrics on several websites and they all say " Deven ". The only one that says "Heaven" is Cetti's link. I'll keep looking.
Thanks Willpower. :-)
I hope you'll let me know as well, as every website I've looked at ( 10 or more ) says exactly what has already been written - as well as being sung at numerous childrens parties I've attended - anyway, good luck!
I always thought it was 'He played knick-knack down in Devon'! (That's the county of Devon, just to spell it out). But I'll admit I've never seen it written down. It's many years since I used to sing it too!
Just a thought - that maybe it should be Devon and not Deven? A British version perhaps???
