I went through a phase like that, was seven stone two years ago and now I'm developing a muffin top (I think they call it) my doc is pleased though.

That reminds me of Big Sis when she was suddenly on her own. She is great at cookery, home making, craft work, sewing, knitting and gardening. However, decorating and general D.I.Y. jobs do leave her a little challenged at times. She went out and bought a supply of duct tape and WD40. She always reckoned one or other would overcome most household emergencies. I couldn't stop laughing at her. Whereas I am the complete opposite to her. I have a go at everything - simple plumbing, carpentry and electrics. Add to that the fact that I am like a chimpanzee up a ladder and can whitewash ceilings all day and all night. We should pool our resources and live together - the perfect couple! Mind you don't ask me to sew or knit.

Am not too bad with basic DIY though terrible up a ladder and my vision trouble can cause probs, but hey ho!! Bill hated DIY LOL

Big Sis has terrible vertigo and she only ever goes up 2 steps on a ladder maximum. But I have never seen anyone else with her ability to curl her toes around the step - she looks like a budgie on its perch - ROFL thinking about it now.

Aww bless, is that the sis who posted here when you were otherwise engaged, I think she was impressed with response her post got! No, me and ladders don't get on if anything I will stand on a chair. Luckily my ceilings aren't high, but my lounge is 23 foot long so the ceiling doesn't get painted that often.

The very same one mamya - she already knows I am a fruit and nut case, but she didn't realise until then that there were so many others on AB. I don't think my pixel mates need fear another visit from Big Sis - it quite gives her the shivers! Your post has really got me giggling - otherwise engaged - at H M's pleasure no doubt! Now I'd heard that smokers had to do their ceilings more often or otherwise keep moving the ashtray around to achieve an even colouring - is that not right?

Oh yes I do that and make the use of the space I have, never go for crystal white either its a no no. Think I may hit the old palliasse very soon, have a funny headache, no doubt from monitor peering with these poor eyes, speak tomorrow somewhere no doubt.
