to a play or musical, i only ask as i wonder how some can afford it.
I looked at one London venue and was shocked to see the top ticket of
£85.00, the lowest being £15.00, but that would quite a restricted view, or so far back you wouldn't see, at least not with my eyesight.
This wasn't with a ticket agent by the way. How can anyone afford to take the family, i know the same goes for some other venues outside the capital.
I want to see several things, but as said have to be very selective, but not least, Driving Miss Daisy, with Vanessa Redgrave and James Earl Jones, which should be a corker.
if I go I get my tickets at the Ticket Shack in Leicester Square , where the shows may not be doing too well but the prices arent bad, but I have not done it lately.
My lovely stepdaughter is an actress and she sometimes gets free tickets or concessions for us otherwise with train fares factored in we'd never get to see her on stage.
No, not particularly. She is always in work though and has been in in Holby and Lip Service on TV but mainly on stage in supporting roles and a couple of leads in the provinces and fringe theatres in London.
