What do ABers think of the latest attempt by the PC brigade to take offence on behalf of a group they assume should be offended?

You've lost me - you were at war but not in a war? (in Northern Ireland.)

So are we at war or in a war in Iraq and Afghanistan? And since you put it that we are at war with a Muslim state, were we at war with a Catholic province? Did you think that the vatican was next?

Surely if the people who told you we were at war (defined by the whitehouse as major combat operations) now tell us that the war is over then it is over. As I said before this doesnt mean that fighting has ceased.

What would you (wm) define as the circumstances under which the 'war' will be over?
