have i read this right if i go for plusnet b/b with home phone i see there call charges for a local, call in the daytime is 6.40p but then a set up charge of 10.90p is added making the first minute 17.3p as my calls are normally less than 1 min it's cheaper to use my mobile at 8p per min
i find this is the most expensive home phone supplier for dayime calls

With the basic Eve & Weekend tariff, that's true, but the Anytime tariff is a flat rate of £3·50/month.
