im not sure what category this should be in but, im facing a possible disqualification based on whether the car i was driving was legaly myne or not, i was stopped on the 16th of a month and the day after the log book office changed car into my name, am i safe
what im saying is i was only test driving it on the 16th bought late night 16th to 17th after 12am, after i was stopped, im saying the date was an error
What you say might well be true. But also based on what you say you are going to have difficulty proving it. The prosecutor will produce evidence to say the car was bought on 15th. Your job will be to disprove this evidence, so how are you going to do so?
he didn't have insurance factor. he used the "driving other cars" extension on his policy for his other car, because according to him he didn't actually own the car at the time he was driving it - he was "borrowing" it from the seller. However, the police dispute it, and say the car belonged to him at the time.
Top driver - when was the logbook signed that ownership had changed? What date is on the logbook?
but if the "log book office" changed the car into his name on the 17th, the date on it wouldn't have been the 17th surely? he couldn't have signed it, got it there And had it changed all on the same day?
Quite. So presumably, unless it was taken there, it was sent to them earlier than 17th. It is unlikely that it would have been sent before the matter of "ownership" had been settled.
Anyway, all academic. The outcome of this will be determined by the evidence presented to the court.
