Good morning everyone. Beautiful here today. A day for a builder in the garden.
However it`s farm shop coffee and cake with a friend, a visit to Ma who will enjoy it as much as I will then a picnic at an outdoor performance of The Import.of being E. The lead is the nephew of my friends, gorgeous and single. Just the right age for my daughter if I can wangle it......... :-)
In Holland, one makes sure the woman works before you marry her
In Russia, one makes sure that both groom and bride work
In Samoa, you take out the third sex, your fala'falanine (spelling)......
So testing the prospective son-in-law is perfectly ok
Back home after a few days wandering around Central England - what a lovely country I live in - beautiful old towns (hello Stamford), quietly beautiful countryside and more wildlife than you could shake a stick at (hares, red kites, osprey, herons, cormorants and an amazing swarm of bright blue dragonflies).
Time to do some dometsics ..... or possibly sit under a tree in the garden ... hmmm - tough call :+)
Blimey! Only want to marry off the daughter. Don`t fancy road testing them first! Anyway he`s skinny.
Have a good day DT and post work in progress pics please.xx
Hi Dave. Sounds like you wad a nice wander. Sit in the garden today. We don`t get enough days to do that. xx
Hi Alba , just finished baking and poor Taz got his ears "done" before his walk. Re birthdays in our family once neice/nephew/cousins/godkids reach 18 now we only send card or e cards [much cheaper] as most of them are earning more than my pension.
