I'm creating a bit of a jokey advert for selling my car (I'm not really selling it).

I need a away of making the 135,000 miles on the clock sound like a good thing.

Any suggestions?

Oh, and it should be in 140 characters or less ;)
Make them Irish miles Ev.
don't mention the mileage, I'm guessing it's nearly 10 years old at least, so for the money you'll be asking for it it's doubtful too many people will care, just highlight it's good points, it's amazing what people miss when buying a car.
Try to find out how far the 135000 miles would have got you to from where you live, for instance; This fabulous vehicle has taken me to China and back so for a great takeaway this is the car for you
6 times round the planet and still going strong ...
^^ The entire circumference of the Earth is only just under 25,000 miles...
Nicely run in ?

Nox, I'm not actually selling it (as above), it's just a bit of a joke.

eerrr, What are Irish miles Gness?

If I put what I've made so far you can see what I mean.

FOR SALE:

-'Classic' VW Golf *Turbo Diesel.

*excludes turbo and diesel

- Vintage features to window and locking mechanisms
- Original, retro media centre - CD player broke but it's got a tape deck
- 15in alloy wheels with bespoke 'rustic' design
- Shabby/chic interior - particular emphasis on the shabby

..........
As you aren't really selling it, something like,
43,750 country miles of trouble free motoring.
Mind you as it is a spoof advert you could say that the cosmic thrust washer in the interstellar overdrive was replaced only 3 light years ago.
Irish miles can be short, long, straight, curly..........whichever is to your advantage. :-)
