Well, I just finished munching on a Denver sandwich whilst watching Stephen King's "Christine" and thought that I would pop in here to see what's going on. It's almost as eerie here as one of his books.

"The Shining". One example, I think, of the movie being superior to the book.

you must be joking! the book was so slowly terrifying and intense i was scared through so much of it.and when there was the infamous bathroom/wendy scene on actually reading it, my heart was beating with wendy's fear! cut to hollywood and it's a "here's johnny" comedy scene which completely lost the moment. loved the book so much,but the film sold out at that point.
