When Do We Stop Doing This?

Noticing the date I said it would have been my fathers birthday tomorrow, he would have been 102 if he had been alive. For heavens sake he has been dead for 40 years! But we all do it. I could say my grandfather would have been 150 if he hadn't died!!

I think it might be reflected in the attachment you feel for our parents.

I cannot remember when my Father died but I do know he was born in 1917. My Mother was born in 1942 (I think) and died a few years ago.

As you an probably tell I wasn't close to my parents!
