Two and a half years ago now frank. It still seems like yesterday.

I was asked to cut along story short to be the public face of a fund raiser for the Hospice creative therapy room to be enlarged. I, of course, agreed. We raised half of the amount in the first two weeks, thanks in great part to all the lovely people on here who donated, from all around the world.

It's all been done and finished frank. It was officially opened by the Hospice patron. The Prince of Wales, who lives not far away. I was honoured to be asked to be one of the party to meet him.

morning all, boaty I feel for youxx alba you asked about Mags after the impetigo went she caught a very bad chest infection we thought is was pneumonia and carted her off to the walk in clinic, they changed her antibiotics and sent her home so every day I have been making soup & dinner and going to her house because she was not eating so by eating together she had to make the effort, much better now, still quite ill & will still be staying home for at least another week.

The pub concerned has a refreshingly old fashioned view on catering

"plain, chees'n'onion, nuts or scratchings"

but the beer is splendid (although I'll have to pass on that if I'm on the bike) and the locals friendly.
