I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

Hi all, sorry Ive been cleaning and rearrangeing furniture, hiding chests of drawer in cupboards! Loads of washing, Mr N came home early so I had to stop. Made spag bol, that good old standby, raining on and off, unbearably humid.
I hate bbqs bonfires and poke-in-eye umbrellas, and oh kids!

ha just re read my post - the dogs hinting in the garden. They stand out there in the dark and gently hint to the pigeons that they should jump out of the trees and into their waiting gobs!

Dogs are very good at hinting .Shaney would stand in front of the hall coat cupboard where I kept the lead and hint until I gave in. The lead is still hanging there.
I troshed up the High St today for a few odds and ends and they had Christmas cards on sale in QD....in August .

oh lord, our travelling osteopath dropped in today to put my neck to rights and I've just discovered he's left his watch and passport here, and he's travelling abroad before we get back . After much driving round and ringing of bells we tracked his dad down to the vast mansion block where he lives and handed them over. Phew.

Oh Mac(poodle) was the king of hinting...he always had a slice of toast mid morning and if it was getting near the time he'd stand in the kitchen and look the grill and then back at me until I got on with it.

Heck jno, do people have to produce their passport when they visit you? Good thing you managed to return it.

I don't know why he was carrying it, I don't usually issue visas at the border, though of course I confiscate any alcoholic liquids of more than 100ml.

Hello again. Just got back from xray and blood test. Very quick service at the old D.R.I. know what I mean Robi. Half if it has been pulled down now. I remember going there when I was a kid with a Squint.
Did I feel a drop of rain this afternoon!

I know exactly what you mean Jude...last time I was there I was out before I should have gone in, it's great. They should have kept it open. In a couple of days it'll be 31 years(!) since I went in there to serve my eight month sentence. I didn't stay in the entire time nonstop, they let me out after two months for bad behaviour. :) Then it was in and out. A lifetime or more ago for some, seems like yesterday to me.
Hope your results are all good. KBO. And yes, it did rain, quite a sharp shower here, enough to wet the ground and stop me playing outside.

I've been playing musical cupboards....carry random objects around the house and sing a song. When you run out of lyrics just bung it in the nearest cupboard/drawer. Everyone's a winner.

It has rained here ...all day so far .Looking out of the window you would think it was November. 'Tis chilly too,a real cuppa soup day.

Been storming here all day, so glad I did the big throws and cushion covers yesterday. Feel lightheaded, but have guestroom all sorted. Ate beabs n egg on toast for dinner. Tv not working cos of rain and low cloud.

Morning...bright and sunny and hopefully warmer than yesterday. I thought it was me feeling off it that made me feel cold all day but I see lots were complaining.
I've got visitors coming too and we're going out....to the tip. :) I know how to live.
