I have just been frisked by a Tuscan policeman who wanted to know if was carrying any contraband chs .

well I hope I get a better night's sleep in this place than the last...some fool was banging on the door all night & singing o sole mio at the window....slightly off key but nice try. Anyway I came across the gardener earlier with his highly flexible hosepipe - looking very shifty he was....so tonight I'm leaving the door unlocked.

Nice place Vinny ,I've sent my Postal Order for 1/6d to the Ed ,had heck of a time finding a Post Office who knew what I wanted (said something about paying with a Credit Card ,too much for me to understand !)

phew...by heck it's lovely & sunny here but very bracing....don't know what charlie's on but he's full of beans today, think I'll start eating eukanuba & I'll be able to jump outa bed & running round with a squeaky banana (leave it V)

(you strip to the waist - they put lots of stickers on you- ouch - oh & two on your ankles so leave off the support popsocks. Only takes a few mins - takes longer to get dressed & undressed. Best not lie back & think of Baz tho - they'll whizz you orf to the cardio ward)

Well it's the same procedure for anything from carbuncles to chilblains so do not worry ...It is totally painless.
My friend had her shoulder done recently ....is this a wash out thing ? Arthritis related ? They just do these ECG's as routine ...it's just to make sure the old pump is pumping correctly....and that there are no Baz related hiccups.

Hi Jude, I'm so sorry to hear you lost your Dad. It is a blessing that he passed away peacefully, as jno says. The older I get the more grateful I am whenever that is the case. It was good to read about how you were playing music you know he would have liked. And also, remember his night on the town!
My thoughts are with you during these difficult days. In my experience the funeral is a milestone after which you feel such great relief. It's as if things haven't really been put to rest until that day, but after it's over you can begin to remember your Dad the way he really was, and that's where the healing starts.
I don't believe I'll be back on the thread again tonight, so, see y'all soon!
